What is LNG?
The Clean-Burning Fuel
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is a clear, colorless, non-toxic liquid that forms when natural gas is cooled to -162ºC (-260ºF). This shrinks the volume of the gas 600 times, making it an efficient source of fuel that is easy to store and ship overseas over long distances. Taken from gas deposits in the earth, natural gas is thoroughly filtered and conditioned to be made of mostly methane among other trace gases. After liquefaction, it is sent to re-gasification plants to be piped through to consumers. Natural gas deposits are abundant enough for a hundred-year supply in the United States, making LNG a viable fuel source.
Our Aim With LNG
CEG aims to further the LNG industry with our equipment and services for transportation, storage, and utilization of liquefied natural gas.
Corban Energy Group (CEG) serves the mid/downstream liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply chains and operations. CEG develops custom, state-of-the-art solutions to support fuel distribution, power generation, and manufacturing operations anywhere in the world.
As a large-scale LNG tank and container manufacturer, we strive to provide businesses the perfect solutions and equipment for their fueling business operations. Our years of hard work, level of expertise, and proficient knowledge in the industry allows us to push for the United States’ future fuel industry.
Benefits of LNG
Low Carbon Footprint
LNG releases significantly less CO2, NOx, SO2, and other pollutants, and leaves virtually no ash or particulates.
LNG is less expensive than diesel by virtue of the lower commodity price.
Plenty in America
Estimates of supply show that there is enough natural gas to meet America’s energy needs for more than 100 years to come.
